The Administrative Clerk reports directly to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the CAO’s office. This role involves coordinating and overseeing a wide range of confidential administrative, technical, and community relations duties in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include providing executive-level support, conducting research, and preparing reports, briefing materials, and correspondence. Acting as a primary point of contact for the offices of the CAO, Mayor, and Councilors, the Administrative Clerk handles internal and external communications, scheduling, and liaison functions with professionalism and discretion. The role also serves as a key liaison between internal staff, the public, and representatives from public and private sector organizations.

The successful candidate must be highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and sound judgment in all matters.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of related work experience in an administrative or municipal government setting, as well as a post-secondary diploma in Executive Secretarial Studies, Office Administration, or Business Administration. The salary range for the position is $47,268 - $54,814.50 annually. The deadline to apply is 12:00 noon on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
