Celebrating 30 Years of Stratford: A Community Storytelling Project
As the Town of Stratford marks its 30th anniversary, we’re excited to share a unique project that captures the heart and soul of our community.
To honour this milestone, 15 local youth partnered with 15 long-time Stratford residents to write and preserve personal stories that reflect the town’s rich history, deep connections, and vibrant community spirit. The result? A beautiful anniversary book filled with warmth, wisdom, and intergenerational storytelling.
These stories offer a glimpse into Stratford’s past and present — from cherished memories and life lessons to reflections on how the town has grown and changed over the years. Whether you're a long-time resident or new to Stratford, this book is a meaningful way to connect with the people and moments that shaped our town.
Copies are now available for purchase at just $15 each — while supplies last!
You can pick up your copy at the Stratford Town Centre, Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 4 PM.
This project was led by the Town of Stratford’s Diversity and Inclusion Sub-Committee and was made possible in part by funding from the Province of PEI through the Seniors’ Secretariat Grant.
